Slot Machines
| Slot machines are the most popular of all casino games. They are simple to use but one can still win a fortune, especially in the well-known linked progressive slot machines, where many players in many different casinos contribute to the same jackpot, and finally one of them wins the whole lot.
What is the Jackpot and how do I win it?
The principle is quite simple. From each bet on a particular slot machine a certain percentage is put into a common jackpot. The current jackpot amount is displayed on top of the slot machine. As you can see on the payoff table, the player who bets 3 coins on the winning line will win the jackpot. Remember that you must bet 3 coins to win the jackpot! There are numerous anecdotes about people who have inserted just one or two coins into a jackpot machine and who have won, unfortunately, not the jackpot but the highest amount for the number of coins they have played, which, of course, is a ridiculously small sum compared to the thousands or millions of dollars that can be accumulated in the jackpot. |

How to play the machine
When you select a slot machine game, a new window with the picture of the slot machine appears. The machine should look familiar to anyone with casino experience.
Our machines have an automatic mode and can play alone for a certain number of rounds. This allows you to start several slot machines in parallel or to play at a roulette table and chat with friends while you have two slot machines in the background playing on their own to win the jackpot.
To start the automatic mode you simply select the number of games to play, specify how many coins the machine should play and then spin the wheels. The machine will stop for a short moment after each game to display the result and then spin the wheels again until the number of remaining games drops to zero. It is possible to interrupt the automatic mode at any time, either by pressing the PAUSE button or by setting the number of games to play to zero. |
Games display
The GAMES display shows the number of games to play. By default it is set to 1, so that the machine spins only once. When put into the automatic mode, the number of automatic games is decreased by one every time the wheels start spinning. If it is down to zero, the game will stop, otherwise the wheels will spin again after a short pause and will continue until the number of games to play is down to zero. The arrows beside the games display allow you to increase or decrease the displayed games at any time. |
Payoff table
On the top of the machine you can see the payoff table where all winning combinations are displayed. When you insert a coin into the machine, the top line of the payoff table highlights the total number of coins inserted. When you win, the field in the payoff table that corresponds to the winning combination and number of inserted coins is highlighted. |
Jackpot display
A progressive jackpot machine has a display above the payoff table where you can see the current jackpot amount. Note that this amount is updated only when you pull the lever or push the spin button. If you just sit there and wait, nothing will happen. This, however, does not mean that the jackpot does not increase, since your machine has to contact the casino server computer to find out the latest jackpot value, and the contact is established only when you are playing. |
Wheels display
Below the payoff table is a display of the three wheels with pictures on them. In the middle of this display is a red winning line. Only pictures which stop directly on this line win. When you click on the spin button or pull the lever, the wheels start rotating and stop one after another (if you disabled Animation in the options, they will just flip to a new position without rotating). When all three wheels have stopped, the machine automatically displays your win and is ready for a new turn. |
Machine buttons
The slot machine has four buttons, three of which can be found on almost every slot machine
BET ONE inserts one coin into the machine. The value of a coin is engraved into the slot in the bottom right-hand corner of the machine. It is also written in the list of available games in the slot selection box. You do not have to change your money into coins. Whenever you bet one or more coins, the corresponding amount is deducted from your account balance when the wheels start spinning. If you do not have enough money to bet, the machine will display a message and lead you to the cashier window. Coins that have been inserted into the machine cannot be removed. You have to play them, or if you definitely do not want to play them, you can exit from the machine. Your bet is then cancelled.
When you insert the maximum number of coins into the machine using this button, the machine will not start spinning until you press SPIN. You cannot insert more coins than the maximum bet.
BET MAX inserts the maximum number of coins into the machine and immediately starts spinning the wheels.
SPIN starts spinning the wheels. This button is only active if some coins have been actually inserted into the machine. The lever on the right-hand side of the machine has the same function.
PAUSE pauses the machine after the next game when it is in the automatic mode and resets the number of inserted coins to zero. The number of automatic games is stored. To continue the automatic mode, insert coins again and spin the wheels.
Coins display
The coins display shows the number of coins inserted. When you start the game, it shows zero. When no automatic game is in progress, the coins display is reset to zero after each round. During an automatic game the coins display stays unchanged to show how many coins the game is being played with.
Game controls
The panel on the left-hand side contains the game controls), similar to controls in other games. The upper box displays the current account balance and the payoff of the last game. Below the box are buttons to access the cashier window, the player info window and to exit the game.
Game result
When the wheels stop rotating, the payoff (in coins) is highlighted in the payoff table and the win is displayed in the game control box. If you have won, the payoff is also displayed in the Player Info box with the tag "S-1" for machines without progressive jackpots and "S-2" for machines with a progressive jackpot.
If an automatic game is in progress, the coins display remains unchanged and after a short delay the wheels start spinning again. If no automatic game is selected or if the number of games to play is zero, the machine halts, the coins display is reset to zero and the game display is initialized to 1, i.e. no automatic game.
Refer to the troubleshooting section if there are any communication problems during the game. |
Changing the coin value during the game
When you select a slot machine, you cannot change its properties. Each machine you choose has its own real identity, which is expressed by its real progressive jackpot, and it cannot be transformed to become something else. If you feel like playing a machine with another coin value, either select it directly from the game selection window, so that you can play both machines simultaneously, or exit the machine you are playing on and then select another one. |
Payout rate and hot machines
Our slot machines are extremely hot - they pay out more than 96%! |
